3D modelling

3D as-built models give a better understanding of the scanned objects.   They save design and installation hours and shorten schedules and deadlines.

Apply Capnor Poland has its own department of engineers who work full time with modelling of point clouds.  Using Leica Cyclone software we create CAD models within a few millimeters of accuracy. This accuracy depends on the object to be modelled, but is generally within +/- 2 mm. The detailed accuracy  determines how long it will take to create a model.

Our CAD models can be exported to engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, PDS depending on our customer’s requirements.  The model contains enough information to review in the define scan volume and can be used as a reference during the design process. This helps to limit costly trips to site and reduce the risk of clashes because newly designed elements can be routed and checked within the 3D model.
